In school, we always nurture our children to love and respect their parents and grandparents from young. Nurturing them since young will help our children to develop and to live up to our school value of Love , Respect and Compassion.
Our K1 children decided to make something simple for their parents and/or grandparents. They made use of recycled materials to make the gift and through this, they also get to show their love and care for the environment.
Photographs can bring back memories as we grow older. We hope that whenever our children sees those photographs, they will feel nostalgic about their younger days. Hence, after brainstorming for ideas, we decided to make a photo frame for parents’ day .
The children were involved in the whole process from collecting recycled materials such as boxes and used paper to designing their photo frame. They painted and pasted for the frame and even got a family photo to be placed on the frame!
