Single-use plastic is very harmful to our planet! Many plastic waste is washed into our oceans every year, endangering marine lives. Plastic takes up a lot of space in our Semakau landfill too!
We want to play our part in protecting the planet by reducing our plastic waste! Last week, we designed our very own reusable bags using markers, stencils and paint. We first sketched out our ideas on paper before drawing and painting it on the canvas bags. From sea creatures to flower gardens, every one of us had unique ideas for our bags!
After designing, we brainstormed about key messages that we can write on our bags. We are excited to use the bags that we have designed and share the important messages with our family members!
