The K2 children had a truly memorable experience as they embarked on their Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project, “Embracing Inclusivity Beyond the Classroom.” This initiative was designed to help children appreciate the importance of including and accepting people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
To mark the conclusion of the project, the class collaborated with Silvercare, an elderly care community. The seniors were invited to join the children in a special performance, which included singing and meaningful interactions. Parents were also involved in the celebration, making it a warm and inclusive event for all.
This intergenerational activity brought joy to both the children and the elderly participants. More importantly, it offered the K2 students a powerful, hands-on lesson in empathy, respect, and the value of diversity. It was a heartwarming and impactful experience that left a lasting impression on the children and deepened their understanding of what it truly means to be inclusive.
