Collaboration with Red Cross: Blood Donation!
In collaboration with Red Cross Singapore for their Start Small Dream Big Initiative, our children at Sunflower Preschool @ Bedok South were being introduced to the efforts of Red Cross and were taught more about blood donation. The inquiring minds of our children made them intrigued on the facts of blood donation that were shared.
Staff from the Red Cross Youth’s also helped the children attain first-hand experiences on basic bandaging and were delighted to be around their mascot, Henry.
The children were excited to find ways to help give back with what they could to help those in need, which allowed for a heart-warming sharing session amongst themselves. After much discussion and deliberation, the children decided unanimously that there were interested in creating posters and slogans for Red Cross to help with promoting the importance of blood donation!
