The K1 and K2 children were full of excitement as they embarked on a supermarket adventure with their friends!
The goal of the trip was to encourage healthy eating by choosing items with the Healthier Choice logo. Each child brought along $5 and was given the opportunity to purchase any item they liked—as long as they could spot the logo on it.
With enthusiasm, the children explored the supermarket, searching for their favourite foods and drinks that met the healthy criteria. They were delighted to discover a variety of healthier options they could enjoy.
This meaningful outing not only helped the children learn to identify nutritious food choices, but also fostered independence as they selected their own items and paid for them on their own.
