We decided to design Star Cards to show love and kindness, to perform songs and dances and to purchase goodies packed in a personalised bags for the elderlies. _First stop, to the neighbourhood market._ > Children visited the market on 20th April 2018 to discuss and shop for goodies for the elderlies at Ling Kwang Home. > Children designing and writing their well-wishes on the STAR to be given out to the elderlies. > Children make their way to Ling Kwang Home on 11th July 2018 to rehearse their upcoming performance. Nursery and K1 children came in racial harmony attires and the K2 children put on red and white clothing to perform at Ling Kwang Home on 20th July 2018 to celebrate both Racial Harmony and National Day. > The nusery children sang and danced "Tong Yao" > The K1 children sang and danced "Rasa Sayang". > K2 children entertained the elderlies with singing and dancing on "We are Singapore" > Parents joined the K2 in performing the dance steps when the children sang "Because It's Singapore" to the applause of the elderlies.
> All children joined in the finale song "We are one in the bond of love". > Children shook the hands of the elderlies and gave out goodie bags that were designed together with their parents. It was a memorable and meaningful day of experience in the lives of the children, parents and teachers.
