In line with the Start Small Dream Big project and the theme Activities with Friends, the Nursery 1 children celebrated friendship through a series of hands-on and heartwarming activities.
They began by crafting beautiful handprint flower art, using their own handprints alongside those of their favourite friend to symbolise how their bond is “blooming.” This was followed by a friendship bracelet-making session, where children carefully selected and strung colourful beads to create special bands as gifts for their chosen friend — a gesture of love and appreciation.
To strengthen social skills and promote cooperative play, the children also enjoyed a fun time at the playground, where they were encouraged to take turns, support one another, and play kindly together.
These activities not only highlighted the value of friendship, but also encouraged kindness, teamwork, and emotional expression in meaningful ways.
