The K2 children had a meaningful visit to the Nursing Home at Jurong Spring today, together with their peers and teachers from our fellow North West cluster. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome from the dedicated staff and volunteers.
As part of the upcoming SG60 celebrations, the children prepared thoughtful questions to ask the residents about their cherished memories of Singapore. In addition, the children participated in a meaningful craft activity with the residents and performed a heartfelt song and dance centered on love, care, and concern. It was truly touching to witness the genuine connections formed between the young and the elderly — a beautiful showcase of intergenerational bonding.
To conclude the visit, a token of appreciation was presented in recognition of the warm hospitality extended to Kidz Meadow. The experience was both meaningful and memorable for the teachers and children alike.
