The children participated in an engaging and educational virtual session with FoodBank Singapore! The team shared interesting insights and practical advice on the daily issue of food waste, emphasising why it’s essential to reduce waste and make the most of our food resources.
The team also explained how FoodBank collects excess food and distributes it to those in need. The children were curious, inspired, and eager to learn how they too can make a difference. By the end of the session, they gained a deeper understanding of the value of food and the importance of not taking it for granted.
Giving back to the community!
Next up, we’re preparing for our very own food donation drive! The children are happily decorating boards and posters to spread the word and brighten the space.
We can’t wait to do our part and give back to the community—one caring act at a time!
