SUSTAINING SSDB PROJECT WITH FUN ACTIVITIES IN THE CENTRE

To sustain this SSDB Project, teachers in different levels has discused & shared interesting activities for each class to carry out which will help the children to understand this project better. During meetings via TEAMS, teachers gave updates on their individual evaluations in class including children’s responses, shared good practices & challenges they faced and gave suggestions to each other as well.

Here are some of the fun & interesting activities our children in the centre did.

  1. Older Class visits the SSDB Corner in groups to complete/update their Reflection Journal and to plan an activity together. Children brainstorm and learnt to exercise how to show respect to one another while they listen to other’s opinion and share resources.
  1. Younger group actively participated in various hands-on activities that would help them to understand more about Fighting Covid-19. They learnt about the importance of proper hand washing and demonstrated the steps while their teachers wrote down their questions, ideas and findings, they explored a simple experiment using hand soap and pepper to see how soap get rid of ‘germs’ and created a Clean & Dirty Hand craft after that, they also created their Germ Craft using their imagination & creativity to show what does a germ looks like using a variety of art materials.
  1. Early Years group has also taken part to be involved in this project. Look how adorable our friends look as they create their Germ Craft! So Cool!
