Despite the services that have been stopped by libraries for the preschoolers due to Covid19, there are many other ways to continue this collaboration and continue the love for books and readings.
Due to Covid19, Molly Library has stopped coming to school. Teacher and children discussed about library and read news on Public Libraries in Singapore to be updated on the situation. The discussion lead to their understanding to be responsible when handling Library’s books so that everybody can benefit from it and continue to use it.
A virtual storytelling session by a librarian Ms Mardhiah, was screened from their library site. Children had alot of fun with her stories which were engaging. Her stories were presented in a form of ‘Draw and Tell’. Children loved the session as they get to draw together with the librarian.
What a wonderful day filled with passion for stories!
