On 23rd May 2025, Friday, we had our launch event for SSDB in conjunction with Parents’ Day. This year for SSDB, our children are starting small to work on their awareness on water conservation and dreaming big as well to work on how they do their part to conserve water.
During the launch event, the children across all levels from N1 to K2 joined in to recite the pledge on water saving. They also performed the SSDB song “Step by Step” followed by “Save my World”. During the event, the children shared their responses on how we could save water a bit at a time through our daily routines. DIYs on water filtration system, self-watering system and hydroponic system were showcased to the children and parents present there. Children had colouring and craft activities to decorate Water Wally with materials provided. Together with parents, the children also participated in water relays using recycled water as a reminder that every drop counts!
To sum up, it was a successful and meaningful Launch Event for us!
