SSDB Outreach & Collaboration with St Luke’s Eldercare Centre (Sumang)

As part of our efforts to promote green habits to families around us, we are thankful for the opportunity to collaborate with St Luke’s Eldercare centre (Sumang) and Agency for Integrated Care (AIC).

The children were excited to meet the elderlies at the eldercare centre. Although we were unable to interact physically in person, the virtual interaction allowed the children to bring smiles to the elderlies with games and dance performances.

As National Day was coming up, we tied up the dance performances with evergreen National Day songs that hopefully brought nostalgia to our elderlies at St Luke’s Eldercare Centre.

It’s performance time, dancing to the NDP 2022 theme song, ‘Stronger Together’!

Our Chinese children dancing and singing happily.

Our Indian children dancing and singing sweetly.

Our Malay children dancing and singing gracefully.

After the dance performance, everyone had fun playing the Go Green BINGO game.

The game was designed and curated by our teachers to incorporate go green habits and practices that the children and the elderlies can adopt.

During the game, the children were able to share the importance of going green by sharing tips and reasons for the need to take good care of our environment.

We hope that the collaboration has brought joy to all the parties involved and we were able to promote green habits to our elderlies.
