A picnic was held at East Coast Park on the 15th of April 2019 for the children,parents and elders from THK Seniors Activity Centre.
The children performed an Easter Bunny Dance in conjunction with Good Friday/Easter Sunday celebration.The elders were also invited to sing the song “ The more we get together” and join the children as they dance.
Afterwhich, The families and children partnered up with one another to hunt for eggs and to perform charades!
The best part was when everyone ate and shared food with one another! A meaningful and joyful experience indeed, especially for the children as they demomstrated pro-social behaviours such as kindness,respectfulness and sharing(towards/with the elders)!
