In conjunction with our SSDB closure, we aim to spread joy and show appreciation to those who serve our community—particularly bus drivers and MRT captains—who play a vital role in ensuring our daily journeys are safe and smooth.
The N2 and K2 children visited Eunos Interchange and MRT station to distribute care packs containing tea, biscuits, and chocolates. Along with the packs, they also handed out handmade appreciation cards to express their gratitude.
During the distribution, the children took the opportunity to engage in small conversations and personally thank the staff for their hard work.
The children also made sure to include the stall keepers by giving them care packs as well. They handed out care packs, and some even shared that they often buy things from these stalls.
Through this simple yet thoughtful activity, children gain a deeper appreciation for the people who work behind the scenes to make their community a safe, clean, and happy place.
On top of that, instead of just learning about community helpers in class, children engage in a hands-on, real-world experience. This makes the lesson more impactful and meaningful.
