This year, our SSDB theme was “Little Green Farmers.” Throughout the year, our cubs explored how to care for the environment and learned about sustainable planting through hands-on and meaningful experiences.
To wrap up the project, the cubs worked together on an Old Tire Planting Project. They picked up dried leaves from the nearby park, painted old tires with bright colours, filled them with leaves and soil, planted seeds, and watered their plants. It was a fun and purposeful activity that allowed them to learn about recycling, teamwork, and caring for nature.
Over the past months, the cubs also had wonderful learning opportunities — visiting Cocoonutink to explore sustainable planting, learning from the Singapore Food Agency about local produce, and visiting Koh Farm to see different types of vegetables and even make their own pesto sauce!
We are so proud of our Little Green Farmers for their enthusiasm and growing awareness about sustainability. 🌿
