For this year’s Start Small Dream Big project, the Nursery 2 children of PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Yio Chu Kang Blk 644 embarked on a project called “Building Closer Ties: Bringing Together the Young and the Old” in hopes of helping the little ones see life through the lens of the elderly people.
To launch the project, the children walked around the neighbourhood and interacted with the elderly people in the area. They observed how the old people differ from young ones, and teachers assisted in recording their observations/responses.
