At PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Fengshan Blk 108, our children embarked on a meaningful journey through this year’s SSDB project in collaboration with Red Cross Junior. With the theme “Empowering Young Hearts”, the project aimed to equip our young learners with important life skills while nurturing values of care, empathy, and teamwork.
The launch began with an exciting visit from the Red Cross Junior mascot, which brought smiles and enthusiasm to everyone. Following that, the children participated in engaging activities such as first aid bandaging and learning about CPR.
The project concluded with a Humanitarian Trail where they practiced choking rescue techniques and explored water filtration activities. These hands-on experiences allowed the children to understand the importance of preparedness, kindness, and helping others in times of need.
Through this collaboration, the children gained not only practical knowledge but also a deeper appreciation for empathy and responsibility. They discovered that even small actions can make a big difference in the lives of others. Moving forward, we will continue to provide meaningful opportunities for our children to apply these values, encouraging them to grow into caring and responsible individuals.
