This year we collaborated with Jurong Zone A RC. They assigned a gardening plot to Sweetlands Childcare JW 484 in our neighborhood Community garden.
Teachers attended a gardening workshop in Feb conducted by NParks. They provided us some edible veggie seeds for the planting project. Our goal for this Community gardens project is to promote sustainable practices like organic farming, water conservation and composting. Ultimately offer a source of locally grown, organic, and pesticide-free fruits and vegetables, promoting healthier diets and reducing reliance on processed foods.
We invited and bring the residents and parents together to share knowledge and design & create this green spaces.
