To reinforce the spirit of caring and appreciation in our children, we encouraged parents and children to collect and bring in recycled materials for children to work on. Children from all levels were tasked to create Singapore landmarks/icons using these recycled materials such as empty boxes, toilet rolls cores, used plastic bags, paper cups etc. The completed crafts were displayed near the entrance, outside the centre for parents to view and take photos during arrival and dismissal. Our children were very happy and proud of their creations.
We received positive feedback from parents when they saw the displays and they thanked our teachers for their great effort and guidance in the project.
