As part of our SSDB project “Little Green Farmers,” our cubs visited Kok Fah Eco Farm where they learned more about sustainable farming and the journey of food from farm to table. The children had a hands-on experience making their own pesto—picking fresh basil leaves, washing and preparing them before blending with olive oil, sunflower seeds, and garlic. They were excited to bring home their little bottles of pesto and also enjoyed exploring the farm’s fish and small animals. It was a meaningful and enriching experience that deepened their appreciation for nature, food, and the role we play in caring for the environment. 🌱👩🌾👨🌾
