Kiddiwinkie Schoolhouse @ Newton: Curious Creations Art Sale

To raise funds for the President’s Challenge, our Kiddiwinkie Schoolhouse @ Newton children worked together to create a plethora of wonderful art pieces to be sold online.

Our Playgroup children created Minibeasts Canvas art, working with colourful sequins and playdough. They also made flower magnets for the sale.

The Lively Ladybirds (Pre-Nursery) made adorable coasters as well as cushion covers using landmarks and food of Singapore as their design inspiration.

After an engaging discussion on diversity, the Nursery children expressed their hopes and wishes in colourful canvas art pieces and sculpted clay necklaces and earrings.

Our K1s worked as a group to create varied art pieces such as door hangers, ceramic cup art and also fridge magnets.

Last but not least, our K2s drew uniquely Singapore landmarks onto canvas bags and T-shirts for sale. They also made shrink art earrings and flora and fauna themed wall art.

All of their art pieces have been placed on the Preschool Market platform to raise funds for charity. Do check them out at https://www.shop.preschoolmarket.com/ssdbcuriousartsale

Through this project, our children have embodied the “Start Small Dream Big” spirit of doing their part for others in small ways and dreaming of accomplishing greater wonders in the future.
