The inspiration for our fundraising carnival came from the children themselves. During a class discussion on their participation in Start Small Dream Big last June, the teacher invited the children to think about what kind of projects they would like to take on, during a class meeting.
After looking at some of the past projects done by other centres, the children decided on the theme “ Caring for the Community”. This sparked a thoughtful conversation on how they could help those who are less fortunate.
From their conversations came many kind and creative suggestions — and together, the teachers and children chose the carnival as a meaningful way to bring these ideas to life. And that was the start of our exciting journey towards the Fundraising Carnival!
