This year marks a special milestone — Singapore’s 60th birthday! At Hampton Pre-School (Bishan), we celebrated by embracing the beauty of different cultures and traditions. Our K2 and K1 children made cards and shared them with friendly neighbours.
As part of our Racial Harmony event, our children came together to learn about the many ways people celebrate in Singapore. They played games, dressed in different cultural outfits, and tasted cultural snacks with their friends.
To end off the celebration, the children exchanged handmade paper flowers with one another, symbolising friendship and unity. It was a meaningful way to show that no matter where we come from, we can celebrate as one Singapore.
