As part of our collaboration with the Singapore Disability Sports Council, we were honoured to be invited to the World Para Swimming Championship 2025 as cheerleaders to support our amazing para-athletes!
Before the trip, they learned a series of cheers and prepared themselves to cheer on the athletes with enthusiasm. At the event, they not only watched the championship but also tried out para sports such as boccia ball, explored different swimming strokes, and witnessed firsthand the incredible determination of the athletes. It was truly an eye-opening experience for the children!
Many of the children were inspired and intrigued by how the athletes were able to swim and compete despite facing physical, visual, or intellectual challenges. The most amazing part was how the children concluded for themselves that they can persevere and not give up trying just like the para athletes that they had the privilege to cheer for!
