In line with our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) activity and in view of Covid-19, our centre is planning to make a quilt consisting of the works of the children. Each child will get to design their motifs on a piece of clean fabric. This will resemble their gratitude for the frontliners. The fabric can be made of safe reusable materials obtained from home such as buttons and sequins.The children may work on the fabric at home with parents. The finished fabric will be brought to school to be combined with the rest of the children’s so we can make a giant quilt. This giant quilt will then be sent to the hospital for display to show that the frontliners are appreciated. This quilt project will be named “Fabric of the Heart”. We shall update here once we have received submissions of the fabrics.
