Eco Enzyme

To play their part in making a better and sustainable world for all, the K1 and K2 children made Eco Enzyme using fruit scraps. Eco Enzyme is a multi-purpose liquid that is produced from the fermentation of organic waste. This liquid can be used as cleaning agent or organic fertilisers. The K1 and K2 children used lemon and orange peel from the fruits they’ve eaten. They added it to a mixture of water and brown sugar to make the eco enzyme. Through this activity, they learned that some things which may seem like ‘waste’ can actually be turned into something useful.
