The K2 children had a fun and exciting virtual zoom craft session on the 8th of September 2022 with Senior Citizens from NTUC Old Folks in Bukit Batok West Avenue 8. Before the activity commenced, they watched a short video clip presentation prepared by the K2s showing their skills in acting ‘Sang Nila Utama’. Then, using old tees and scissors, they created a DIY Tote Bag together with Teacher Nadiah’s assistance and support. The activity helped the children understand that unwanted items can be made into something useful and involving the senior citizens in doing the activity made them realised that they are still loved and cared for.
