Our centre organised a collaboration with the NTUC eldercare home located at Marsiling. The visit includes our principal, Teachers of the kindergarten 1,2 and the children of those level. Upon arriving at the Eldercare centre, the elderly welcomed us with radiant smiles and were all sitting down; ready for our activity.
Working together with Forest 3, our children and the elderly were engaged in painting of murals using recycled materials. They interacted and worked hand-in-hand. Our collaboration’s objective deepens when the children have their lunch in the Eldercare centre.
This Eldercare collaboration taught our children to appreciate the things we have and to forgo our wants. Similarly, have an open heart and be grateful-give back to our society whenever possible and are of our capability.
