Following our launch day, teachers were engaged in creating the photo booth for our children for a meet-and-greet session with Sharity Elephant from the Community Chest.
The K1 and K2 children were excited to meet Sharity and provided their best poses for the photo-taking art the photo booth.
As the children learn to sing and dance to the Sharity theme songs, they discover more about him and his motto through the song lyrics.
They were then engaged with the drawing of the Sharity Elephant.
They also learned more about the Community Chest - how it was founded, its mission and its impact on the community through the official Sharity videos. They were then led by the teacher for a class discussion on what charity means. Besides verbally expressing their thoughts on how they can render help to those in need, the children also penned down their reflections.
