Our first project for “Big Heart Little Me” is to show appreciation to our parents. We celebrated Mother’s Day in May and Father’s Day in June. Despite the pandemic situation, we celebrated these events virtually as we “Stay Connected, Make a Difference”.
Children showed appreciation to the mothers through an artwork. This year, we invited mothers to an online celebration where children’s performance was being shown. Our celebration included an online barter trade event where parents and children worked together to create meaningful crafts for the auction. Parents donated items such as mask, hand sanitizer and biscuits in exchange of these artworks. These donated items will be packed as token of appreciation to a community helper. Who will it be?
