A Racial Harmony with MK@Frontier: Planning

For this year, the focus of the event was to bring out the idea of ‘Home’. As such, we created a logo that displays four mini figures with each representing the different cultures - Chinese, Indian, Malay and others all under a single roof. It was to point out that all races in Singapore should leave together in harmony with one another. The logo was displayed on all forms, invitations and decorations to signify the event for this year.

The planning for the Racial Harmony began with getting children to share what they wanted to include in the displays, activities, games and food signified by each culture. Following this, the team started off with the creation of various cultural booths. As decided, our display includes parts of the different traditional homes with related items such as type of clothes, cookware, food and house decorations. We then decided to add on game booths which would introduce several traditional games to the children.
