Our Champs celebrated Racial Harmony Day cum National Day (SG60) Celebration, held under the theme “Kindness is the sunshine in which virtue grows.” Throughout the month, our Champs and families came together to spread joy, compassion, and unity through a series of meaningful activities.
- Visit to Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home
Our N2-K2 Champs, together with their parents, visited Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home, where they performed, participated in arts and crafts with the elderly, and brightened the residents’ day with their smiles and warmth. It was a heartwarming experience that allowed the children to connect across generations and practise empathy in a real-life setting. Our PG-K2 families contributed generously to our donation drive, helping us deliver goody bags for the elderly. The spirit of giving was truly evident as our Champs learned the joy of sharing and caring for others in the community.
- Virtual Parenting Talk: “Nurturing Kindness at Home”
Parents joined us online for an engaging talk on cultivating kindness at home. The session offered practical strategies to encourage empathy, gratitude, and positive communication in everyday routines.
- Spread the Kindness Around
Our PG-N1 Champs took part in simple yet thoughtful acts of kindness by creating artwork and baking cookies for the cleaners and security guards in our building. Their cheerful gestures brought smiles and appreciation from the recipients.
- Kindness Challenge
Families participated enthusiastically in our Kindness Challenge, capturing special moments of their Champs performing acts of kindness at home.
- Storytelling Session
Parents joined our storytelling sessions to share inspiring tales about kindness and friendship. These stories sparked meaningful conversations and encouraged children to reflect on the importance of being kind to others.
This month’s celebration has been a wonderful reminder that kindness begins with small actions and big hearts. We thank all parents and Champs for their participation, support, and enthusiasm in making this event a memorable success.
