How LittleLives supported Pingu English Vietnam in strengthening parent trust through better visibility and communication

This article reflects LittleLives’ observations from working with Pingu English Vietnam, and how centres can improve parent communication and operational efficiency.

In educational centres, learning does not end when a class finishes.

For parents, what matters just as much as the lesson itself is what happens after - what their child learned, how they are progressing, and whether the time spent in class is truly making a difference.

In working with Pingu English Vietnam, we observed that this expectation becomes increasingly clear over time. It is not enough to simply deliver lessons well. Parents want to see the impact.

The Hidden Work Behind Every Class

Before implementing a system, much of the team’s daily effort went into manual processes that were necessary, but time-consuming. Attendance had to be recorded manually. Lesson updates had to be communicated separately. Small but important tasks, repeated every day, and it all gradually added up.

While these processes were manageable, they took up a significant amount of time for both teachers and administrative staff. Time that could have been spent focusing more on teaching, student engagement, and improving the overall learning experience.

The Shift: From Informing Parents to Showing Them

What stood out in working with Pingu English was not just the need for efficiency, but the opportunity to improve how communication with parents could be done. In particular, the ability to send videos directly to parents made an immediate difference.

Because progress is not always easy to capture through text or written messages.

A message can explain what was taught. A report can summarise performance.

But a video shows something much more powerful - how a child participates, responds, and grows in real time.

One of the most impactful changes came when parents were able to view videos of their children during class. When parents can see, everything changes.

These were not just updates, they became a form of documentation. With LittleLives, these videos can also be securely stored for up to 2 years, allowing parents to revisit their child’s learning journey over time. In some ways, parents get to join their children on their learning journeys (and see exactly what they have been paying for).

Parents could see their child engaging in activities, interacting in class, and building new skills over time. Over weeks and months, these moments formed a clear, visual record of progress.

This created something that is difficult to achieve through traditional communication alone: confidence.

Parents no longer had to rely solely on summaries or occasional updates when teachers were free to provide them. They could see the learning journey for themselves. And with that, came greater trust in the centre.

Supporting Parents Beyond the Classroom

Another meaningful shift was in how Pingu can support parents outside of class hours. With automated reminders, parents were prompted about their child’s homework and learning activities. This reduced the need for manual follow-ups and ensured that important tasks were not overlooked.

At the same time, it created a stronger connection between what happens in class and what continues at home.

Simplifying What Happens Behind the Scenes

While parent communication improved, internal processes also became more structured. Information about students and parents could now be stored in one place, making it easier for the team to access and manage data when needed.

While systems like LittleLives do not eliminate all manual processes, they can help simplify a significant portion of day-to-day operations. Most importantly, they reduce reliance on scattered tools and repetitive coordination.

With better visibility, stronger parent communication, and more structured operations, centres like Pingu English Vietnam are better positioned to grow with confidence. Because growth is not just about increasing student numbers - it is about maintaining quality while doing so.

Having a system that supports both communication and information management gives the team a stronger foundation to scale, without losing the connection with each student and parent.

From our experience working with Pingu English Vietnam, LittleLives has played a practical role in helping the centre improve communication and better organise information. While no system is perfect, having a more structured way to manage data and share updates can make a meaningful difference in how teams operate on a daily basis.

For other centres facing similar challenges, the value is clear.

When parents are given better visibility into their child’s learning, trust grows naturally. And when teams are supported by a system that reduces manual work, they can focus more on what truly matters: delivering quality education.

We are here to help you get back to what you do best: focusing on the children and providing them with the quality education they deserve. Reach out to us at sales@littlelives.com for an exploratory discussion - we would be happy to see how we can support your centre.
