Zero waste living: Planting our kitchen scraps

Having learnt about the large amount of food waste generated in Singapore. The children sought to find ways to reduce the amount of food that is being sent to our landfills. We read that vegetable scraps and decided to test it out. Over the course of 3 weeks we observed the changes in our kitchen scraps. We managed to harvest our spring onion plants and used it in garnishing for our lunch !
