During the workshop, both children and parents actively participated in transforming old clothes into reusable bags as part of our upcycling initiative. Guided by our centre teachers, participants learned simple cutting and tying techniques while exploring the importance of sustainability and reducing waste. The hands-on session encouraged teamwork, and problem-solving as families worked together to give new life to old materials. It was truly an engaging and meaningful experience that fostered environmental awareness and strengthened home–school collaboration.
