As part of our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project, our children created heartfelt tokens of appreciation for the wonderful non-teaching staff who help make our school a special place every day.
🌼 Handprint Flowers
Our K1 children created vibrant handprint flowers by dipping their tiny hands in colourful paints and assembling the different parts of the flower to form beautiful gifts. As they worked, they thoughtfully shared which staff member they wished to thank and how each person’s contribution enriched their learning experience in school.
💌 Thoughtful Cards & Care Packages
Our K2 children designed thank you cards with messages such as “Thank you for all the help you give us!” and “We are grateful for all the things you do for us!” Some also helped pack the care packages that were filled with thoughtful treats to show their appreciation.
The children gained a deeper understanding of how every role contributes to our school community. These small acts of kindness are planting important seeds of gratitude and community awareness in our young learners. May their little acts of kindness continue to ripple through our school community!
