SSDB Party Closing Party 2024 Recap

On October 11, 2024, we celebrated the SSDB Closing Party with the enthusiastic participation of teachers and students from PCF Sparkletots Toa Payoh Blk 6. This event marked a joyful culmination of our efforts to instill good recycling habits in our young learners.

Throughout the day, the children engaged with an informative presentation on recycling, which highlighted its importance and encouraged them to adopt sustainable practices. They also had the opportunity to unleash their creativity by making arts and crafts using recyclable materials collected during the project. This hands-on experience not only fostered their artistic skills but also reinforced the message of environmental stewardship.

The festivities continued with a lively sing-along and dance to the SSDB theme song, “Step by Step,” which filled the atmosphere with energy and enthusiasm. The children’s excitement was further heightened as they received special goodies from our generous partners, including the National Library Museum, Singapore Art Museum, Families for Life Council, Children’s Museum Singapore, and Community Chest.
