The K2 children had a meaningful time at the Metta Day Rehabilitation Centre for the Elderly, where they performed a Hari Raya dance and distributed their craftwork to the elderly.
Through these activities, children learnt to foster empathy and respect by engaging in meaningful interactions with the elderly. They also developed their confidence and social skills by practising Hari Raya greetings and communicating respectfully during the visit.
This fun and interactive experience allowed the children to build empathy, compassion, and mutual respect through meaningful intergenerational interaction.
