On the 25th of April 2023, Kidz Meadow Yishun held our launch for SSDB with the slogan for this year being, ‘Many helping hands, caring for everyone’
We started off our launch with a collaboration between the centre as well as parents and community helpers in the area to form a heart! This showcases the different people involved in playing a part to build strong families and communities!
The children from Kidz Meadow Yishun put up a performance for the launch for their families as well as those in the community, based on the values they have learned through their lessons on Families for Life or FFL, the values being Respect, Love and Commitment.
Participants were given a token of appreciation - a flower made from recycled plastic bottles, which were the handiwork of the children. They also took pictures with the children to commemorate the launch of the event!
