As part of our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project, our children embarked on a meaningful journey to City Sprouts, where they experienced nature up close and learned about sustainable living.
During the visit to City Sprouts, the children explored the urban farm, interacted with animals, and learned about how food is grown in a sustainable way. Their faces lit up with excitement as they fed fishes, saw composting in action, and observed the beauty of nature in the city.
The children learned how to reuse materials by creating kites out of recycled paper.
To wrap up our SSDB journey and reinforce what we had learned, we returned to school and participated in a maze activity inspired by the Go Green SG campaign. The children navigated through an interactive maze filled with simple environmental challenges and choices.
This journey helped our young ones develop a greater appreciation for the environment and showed them that even small actions—like planting a seed or reducing waste—can make a big difference.
Together, we’ve taken our first steps toward a greener future — and our little changemakers are ready to keep dreaming big!
