At MOE Kindergarten @ Shuqun, we kicked off our very first Start Small, Dream Big project with our little ones! We came together to discuss what kindness means. We talked about all the people we can be kind to - whether at home, in school, or outside of school - and shared ideas on how to show kindness every day. We also role-played ways to show kindness, such as helping a friend who has fallen, giving us the opportunity to practise being caring and supportive. The children also learnt that this year’s SSDB project will focus on caring for our staff in school, which made the discussions even more meaningful.
To wrap up the launch party, our children sang and danced along to the SSDB song, ‘Step by Step’.
They even helped pack the SSDB materials for their friends to take home and enjoy with their families. Just look at them putting in so much effort to pack everything carefully!
