Tinkerland team had been hard at work with the children and parents after we planned and decided on a funfair to showcase the children’s understanding of how we can recycle, reduce and reuse materials from their home and the school make something fun to play with. Collaboration with Children’s Cancer Foundation to raise funds was in the agenda as well. There was much fun and excitement as the parents and children turned up in full force to support the fun fair as well as contributing to the fundraising. We had parent volunteers to assist with the games. And we managed to raise a total $2400 in ticket sales, merchandise sales and donation. What a finale to our maiden SSDB project!
