The Child Care Centre is located at the 2nd level of Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home. The children in the Child Care Centre are always curious of those children staying in the Children’s Home.
Due to COVID-19 safe distancing measure, the Child Care Centre’s children decided to explore the vicinity where the dormitories are sited. Through the open windows of the dormitories, the children had a glimpse of those children residing in the Children’s Home.
The Child Care Centre’s children brainstormed on ideas to extend help to those children staying in the HOME.
They decided to run a donation drive to raise funds for the HOME. The whole centre was involved from the Playgroup to the K2. Each child drew/painted picture individually to bring home to raise funds to help build lives of those children staying in the HOME.
A total amount of $5,908.00 was raised, thanks to the generosity of the parents and children. Through this love gifts, we have the privilege to build into the children’s lives through our own small way. May God’s grace and mercy protect and watch over these children.
