On the 1st of June, our Kindergarten 2 children had a launch party for our Start Small Dream Big project. As per the theme of this year’s SSDB ‘Our Family, Our Community’, we collectively came up with the acronym C.A.R.E; compassion, appreciation, respect, empathy.
Prior to the party, children have created some posters. They drew actions of what each value meant to them. The children gleefully posed with the posters they made.
Apart from creating posters, our launch party also included children making sweet treats for their loved ones.
Children could not wait to bring these treats back home!
They were reminded to give some words of appreciation as they pass the treats.
We wrapped up the ‘party’ with some songs and dance about the value of kindness.
