PCS Grow&Glow@Hougang has embarked on our SSDB 2021 project. Our centre had chosen to work with the elderly this year and after some sharings about the elderly in our midst who need some community support, our children exploded with numerous ideas to bring some joy to the elderly.
The title for our SSDB 2021 Project is “Ah Gong Ah Ma, I love you ❤️ “
“What are we making?”
“Oh! Pom Poms? I know what’s that! It’s when you celebrate then you shake! 🎉 “
We got our children involved in packing their own goodie bags and they had loads of fun and excitement!
“When can we open this?”
“What do we do with this? Must we bring back to school?”
They had tons of questions regarding the things inside the SSDB Launch Goodie Bag!
Finally, the day of our SSDB 2021 virtual launch came on 24 April 2021.
For our SSDB project, we are using a project initiative by Christian Preschool Alliance to outreach to the elderly in our community, entitled Project Good Sam.
We had around 15 families from K1 and K2 joining in our SSDB 2021 virtual launch. We revisited what we did last year, played some games and finally popped our party poppers! Hurray! SSDB 2021 “Ah Gong Ah Ma I Love You” is officially launched on 24 April 2021!
