To wrap up our SSDB project themed “Together for Tomorrow, Empowering Young Hearts (Families for Life),” we held a simple yet meaningful Finale and Closing Party within the classroom to celebrate the children’s journey.
Although parents were not invited, the celebration was a reflective and joyful moment for the children. They revisited the activities they had taken part in — from making appreciation crafts and handmade soap to creating bath bombs for their loved ones. Each child was given the opportunity to share their favorite memory from the project, and many expressed pride in the gifts they had made for their families.
The children also sang familiar songs about family and togetherness, which helped reinforce the core values of love, gratitude, and unity that they had explored throughout the project. Teachers took this opportunity to affirm the children’s efforts and to thank them for their enthusiasm and determination.
