To kick off our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project, our school launched a heartwarming event centered around the theme “Together for Tomorrow, Empowering Young Hearts – Families for Life.” The launch aimed to help children understand the importance of family bonds and how they can play a part in showing love and appreciation to their loved ones.
The project was introduced to the children in simple and relatable terms, helping them grasp the purpose behind our initiative. Teachers engaged the children through meaningful storytelling and joyful songs, all centered around the theme of family. These stories and songs helped reinforce values such as love, unity, and gratitude.
As a highlight of the launch, the children participated in a craft activity where they created heartfelt handmade gifts for their parents. These crafts served as tokens of appreciation, allowing the children to express their love and gratitude in a tangible and creative way.
