Today was a wonderful and memorable day as we celebrated the North West Start Small Dream Big Launch Day at Kidz Meadow Yew Tee. This year’s theme, Together for Tomorrow: Empowering Young Hearts in line with Together for SG60, was introduced to the children by Cikgu Nana and Teacher Diana.
The event began with a fun icebreaker activity where the children introduced themselves and made new friends from various Kidz Meadow centre. They then enjoyed singing “Singapura, Sunny Island” with expressive actions led by Teacher Munirah and Teacher Su.
Following that, the children participated in an Eco-Design Competition, creating imaginative 3D artworks using recyclable materials and craft supplies. Their creativity truly shone through in the unique pieces they crafted and proudly shared in small groups.
Cikgu Nana and Zhang Laoshi also engaged the children in a discussion about recycling, highlighting important dos and don’ts. To wrap up the day, the children were recognized for their efforts with prizes and medals, and they took group photos to capture the moment.
