On the 12th of May 2022, children at Skool4Kidz Campus @ Sengkang Riverside Park celebrated International Nurses Day. They were introduced to the origin and purpose behind this celebration in class. Working together, children demonstrated their appreciation for nurses and various healthcare workers by creating beautiful artworks.
The different age groups were in-charge of creating various artworks - vase, flowers, bookmarks and ‘thank you’ cards. The children practiced working cooperatively in groups as they created beautiful artworks together.
The children were excited to share and show the artworks they have created with their teachers and peers. They discussed about how the crafts they have made would bring smiles to the faces of healthcare workers they were going to give it to as well.
The artworks they have done were placed in gift baskets together with fruits and other items as well. The baskets were wrapped and given to the nurses at Sengkang General Hospital on the 2nd of June 2022.
